Drawing

Drawing has been a life-long habit. While I am known for intricate cross-hatching and stippling with pen and ink, I also enjoy sketching in looser styles with charcoal and ink washes. Drawings from observation and imagination in my sketchbook are often transferred directly onto blocks for woodcut or linocut prints.
